IIT (ISM) Dhanbad offers different programs for international students, irrespective of nationality, pursuing their degrees at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in an Institute abroad.

An international student can contact a faculty member for an internship or fellowship. The internship can be of a duration which is agreed upon by the home institute and the IIT (ISM) faculty.
A student pursuing his/her degree in a foreign institute/university and nominated by that institute/university to carry out Coursework/Project Work/Internship at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad for a period, not exceeding two semesters can be allowed under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or otherwise. For a student coming from an institute that has a signed MoU with IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, the provisions of collaboration are under the terms and conditions as given in the MoU. If any international student would like to visit IIT Dhanbad for exchange or otherwise mentioned above, from the non-MoU institutes/universities, he/she has to pay tuition and other obligatory charges as per institute rules.
